The Pavillion was designed as contrasting experience to the enclosed nature of an existing residence. The owners brief was to create an environment which was akin to a conservatory in winter, and in summer passive shading and large openings creates a verandah effect. The building is set over 2 levels, with the ground floor designed to be deliberately transparent, with glass on all sides, a central service core housing the kitchen and amenity areas. The lower ground floor accommodates the master suite, large walk in robe and cellar and service areas. A new 3 car garage was added to the entry area.
