This is a multi-level mall connection between the new Burjuman Extension and the newly renovated existing Burjuman Mall. The existing link lacked wayfinding clarity and there was an opportunity to create an experience that would lead the shopper from one part of the centre to the other.

While creating an identity and destination in its own right, the link mall also seamlessly links the two disparate parts of the mall together by defining an articulated room experience. The incorporation of a beautifully crafted undulating ceiling of golden metals creates a strong identity while paying respect to both sides of the mall, and is consistent with future directions of international retail.
